Schmitty The Weather Dog Does Yoga In Times Square?

Stretching is natural for a dog. Feels good and gets your juices flowing. If you wanna get your juices flowing, come down to Times Square on Tuesday, June 21st for the Lucy Solstice in Times Square -- day long yoga event. Imagine thousands of humans all sitting on mats doing downward facing dog right in the middle of one of the most busiest places in the world, Times Square! Arf-Arf! I went last year. It’s a PAWSOME event.

Believe it or not, I found out about this yappy yoga event last year when my Twitter friend @Nurelah tweeted me. She thought Schmitty The Weather Dog (that would be me) might want to salute the sun by doing a Summer Solstice weather pawcast at this cool NYC event in Times Square. How nice of her. And how lucky for me. I got to O-m-m-m-m my way thru the weather. Even caffeinated weatherman Ron found peace and tranquility. Arf-Arf! But enough barking, here’s some pics from last year.

Yoga in Times Square? That's a stretch!

Here I am in Times Square demonstrating some of my favorite yoga poses. Personally, I don’t know why people think yoga is such a work out. Arf-Arf!
